LED Lights and incandescent

I have a question. My turn signals stopped flashing and I'm sure it's the flasher# C7AB-13350-A (Autolite) in a 68 Mustang. As I occasionally pull a trailer, is there a flasher compatible with LEDs and Std. bulbs? Very confusing-to me anyway, online. Some electronic flashers have a ground; don't know what's that for. Any help would be appreciated as that flasher is a bear to get to in a factory AC car and I don't want to go through this again. LOL

Re: LED Lights and incandescent

If your trailer has the LEDs, I believe you'll be ok with a normal or heavy duty standard bi-metal flasher.  I replaced my front park/turn bulbs with 1157 LED replacements and added two LED 1157 replacements to the stock bulb in each rear tail/stop/turn and the standard flasher works just fine.  I have to believe it's the presence of the stock incandescent bulbs at the rear that pull enough current to make the flasher work.
