I have the NPD hump hugger console that sits over the original console.
This might be a dumb question, but what have you guys done to stop these from sliding back and forth?

Cut a piece of the drawer liner that you use in your tool box and put it between console and hugger works great. Got that idea from 6sally6

If you have original style carpet, a pair of Velcro® strips on the underside grip real good.

Thanks guys!
With the toolbox liner, is that the rubber stuff?

That suggestion from 6sally6 years ago fixed mine. You can buy drawer liner at walmart. The one that looks like a bunch of little black nubs attached to each other is dirt cheap and works great! It never slips and if you need to remove the hump hugger, just pull straight up.
Just wrap a piece over the console, push the hump hugger down over it and trim off anything that shows. Comes right off with no residue.
Thanks 6sally6 !!!

I have found that rug underlayment works very well. It’s cheaper than drawer liner and comes in larger sizes.

I found some draw liner at a local parts store and it worked like a charm!
Console sits very securely now. Thanks for this handy tip!
