I'm new to the forum, and just put the Cobra Rear brakes on my 66, and am planning on the front kit soon. I already have a set of 17X8 TT2's and was wondering if they would clear the front Cobra calipers with something like a 1/4" or 3/8" spacer. I have 3" ARP studs on my front hubs, and have decide to add a little bit of fender flare to repair some sheet metal damage, so rubbing the tires should not be an issue. Has anyone made these wheels work this way? Just trying to save a few $$'s so I don't have to buy all new wheels.

Typically a 1/4” spacer should do the trick. Your dimensions may vary, but you can get there.

Thank you, I will give it a try.
