Graham, I'm assuming you placed a resistor bridge into the EGR circuit to fake out the PCM and turn off the MIL. If that's the case, I'm curious where you tapped wires 26, 27, and 46 to connect the resistors. Wire 26 is VREF and wirae 56 is PIP. They come off of the main PCM conneactor fairly close to each other and it might be pretty easy to get 56 instead of 26 if you installed the EGR by-pass resistors close to the PCM. Just sayin'.
I'm with TKO, go back to the last thing you did and un-do it. See if that cures the problem. Been there many times.
