So many for sale hard to decide the place to get some of good quality. Thought someone could steer me towards a supplier that the mirrors were good quality .

I have "long base bullet mirrors" on my 65. They don't offer a great view, but I like the way the look.

Try this site, they have a big selection: https://www.haganauto.com/category_s/197.htm

I originally bought the long bullet mirrors, but I sold them to someone on here and I bought matching deluxe mirrors for both sides.

Billy, funny you should ask about mirrors, seems to me you had some neat looking mirrors on you earlier Mustang and I want to know what they were off of? I was thinking it was some year Mustang convertable?

I have the Talbot/Shelby mirrors.  They look great, but visibility is not good, and adjustment isn't either.  I would recommend some rectangular mirrors that are larger.  They do not look as good, but are safer.

Those mirrors Billy had on his other Mustang were either Escort GT or Fox Vert, I think.  I liked them but not how they were mounted.  So I rounded up a couple of sets and modified the mount so they would mount to the "top" of the door instead of the side.  This tucked them in about two inches and allowed me to mount them with the tops level instead of drooping.  Yes, they are out of place but for the way I use the car they are perfect.  And, they are electric so they are easy to adjust on the rare occasion when Mrs. BB1 drives the car.
If I could figure out how to post a pic, I would.

Friend of mine has 67/68 square mirrors on his 66. It's a real subtle change butt-sweeet !Very practical and good vision.

These sport mirrors were on my car when i purchased it . I like the looks, but they interfere with the wing window.
Now that i have AC doesn't bother me as much. They are remote, thinking of trying to make them electric.
They tend to get out of alignment easily

Here's a set:  https://www.1aauto.com/1987-93-ford-mustang-driver-and-passenger-side-2-piece-mirror-set-diy%20solutions-mir04127/i/1amrp00973/626764/1988?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8eUuarv_gSA10_MdxtpJkFeQSrLL1NIOQDlmFQHo4jVW0apt_Q-QJYaAgSREALw_wcB

Keep in mind that to mount them like mine you need to do EXTENSIVE mods to the plastic body and then make a new steel mount to bolt them to the door.  I used double faced tape and 180 grit paper to shape the plastic to the top of the door.  Then fabbed up a mount that attached to the pot metal part inside the plastic housing.  Lotta work but I'm happy with the result.  Get an Escort mirror switch or two ( easy to brake) and mount it in the same spot as the accessory remote mirror controller on the drivers door.
Also, I really should have mounted mine about an inch further back on the door.  I'm tall enough that I'm right at the end of the adjustment for the driver's mirror right for me.  Maybe I'll tweak the motor mount in the housing someday.....maybe.

I need to start looking at options as well. I’m not sure about the Escort style mirrors.
