Got myself a set of styled steel wheels for the 65. 215 60 R15 BF Goodrich Radial TA’s. Looks a bunch better.

Well done Ron, the BFG RWL’s look so good on Mustangs. I put mine on with lettering inside and regretted it, next set will be outside.
The T/A’s don’t get much love from some folks but I’m on my third set and will certainly buy them again.
I’ve driven them in all kinds of weather cept snow and never wished for  better rubber.

I’ve always loved those wheels.  I don’t think ford could have done any better than that design.

Are you driving that Vert or your HT to Bako, Ron?

The styled steel wheels always looked great, particularly on the '65-'66 cars.  No exception here.  Love the color too.  Is it the original color or did you pick it?  I'm wondering in part because I remember a cover car from (I think) Mustangs Monthly nearing 30 years ago that was a similar color.  That car had a nice feature and was very well detailed throughout, which I tired my best to emulate on my '67 when I was originally restoring it.

The color is original, although repainted. The color is Vintage Burgundy.
