I really like Steve Buzek's install of 2013 (I think) seats

Re: Mounting modern Mustangfront seata into a 65-66 Mustang

I would grab 2005-13 Mustang seats. Believe 2015 have alot bigger bolsters and wouldn't fit well in convertible. They may even fit poorly in coupe or fastback the door handle gets in the way.  The seats work well manually if mounted to stock seat rails.  I really want to try and see about fitting power 2015 seats. I like the way they look. I just think they maybe to wide if they are wider then 05 seats I wouldn't bother installing them though.

I tried to install the 96 seats I have in my 68 with the power tracks installed. Way too tall - head hit the roof with the seat fully lowered. I mounted the seats to my 68 tracks and it worked well. I don't know what the power seat bottoms look like on the 2015, but with the built in seat risers on our early models, I don't think they  would work.

68 coupe - 351W, 4R70W, 9" 3.25 -- 65 convertible - 289 4v, C4, 8" 3.00

They probably wouldn't work with the seat risers. I have my seat risers cut out along with the full floor pan
