US Shift Quick 1 to Quick 4 upgrade

I just received a new upgraded TCU for my 4R70W from US Shift. For $175 they will ship you the latest upgraded version - the Quick 4 with upgraded software. The new unit requires you to install an extra tachometer input wire in the main connector, but it's supposed to be almost a plug and play unit. You just have to ship them back your old Quick 1 unit, prepaid. I'll be working on getting that installed this weekend.

Re: US Shift Quick 1 to Quick 4 upgrade

Do you know what the upgrade consists of between the two controllers?

Re: US Shift Quick 1 to Quick 4 upgrade

You can view the website for all the particulars, but the Quick 4 requires a tach input which will give better shifting response and more accurate shifting rpm information to the controller.
