Can anyone say with 100% certainty that the front bucket seats for a 1965-1967 mustang (all styles) are interchangeable?
I found out the hard way that the rear seats are non interchangeable. I want to keep the front seats but I need to know I won't have any issue installing them.
thank you

Yep, the front seats are exactly the same.
Furthermore, the front seats from any year Mustang will actually fit in a vintage Mustang with minimal effort because they all have the same track width. I have '93 Fox seats in mine - all I had to do was drill two holes and swap the vintage seat tracks over onto the newer seats and bolt them in. Soooo comfortable!

Rear seats differed because the rear trim was different among the various bodystyles. This necessitated different widths and mounting configurations. The fronts were all the same, at least so far as buckets went. No experience with front bench seats of which there are very few.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
