I'm on my 3rd ACP aluminum rad in my 66. The 1st 2 didn't make it through 1 short driving season here in Canada. Both leaked where the tubes were sweated at the upper tank right under the hose connection. ACP customer service has been absolutely top shelf. A real pleasure to deal with and shipping was very fast. So far this latest one has been holding out just fine.

I have Z's crossmember with jack pad on my 66. Did you have success getting your original off without the nut turning or breaking the bolt? When I bought my car one bolt was already sheared off. Inside the engine bay there's a factory hole next to the internal nut/bolt location. It's a good spot to start soaking wit penetrating fluid if it's still on your car.
