Today I built the lower crossmember for the TKO600. I decided to raise the mounting points about 1-1/2" higher so I would have better access to the bolts. That means I have to redo some of my previous work on FRANKENMEMBER #1. Also will give more exhaust clearance. At least I now have ONE of the parts totally completed. Tomorrow I will get the upper crossmember revised and welded into the car. Finally will be in position so I can weld the new tunnel in place.
The hollow places in the top of the crossmember will get filled in with flowable seamsealer once the paint cures. That will keep it from filling up with road crud. The extra bracket is for the e-brake lever pivot.

...you asked for it...
One can of smelly Swedish surstromming.
ömming
Given the description of it, I think catfish flavored icecream might be a better option.

I figure Frankenmember I took about 3 days. Frankenmember II took one day. That is 4 days of my life. I'm thinking that NO ONE will be willing to pay my asking price for one of those... Plus all the frame and sheetmetal work associated... I certainly NEVER want to do it again. A 302 and a T5 are looking might good about now.
