I put everything back on the bench today and crunched the numbers again to make sure I was good with my location. I need to be 1.9 inches down from the outside diameter of the brake pedal pivot. I'm pretty much dead on which would be a 4.8 ratio. If I move it .050 it would change to a 4.7 ratio. Given the slight angle of my ruler I have to be in the right range. I will proceed with the mounting arrangement I have and pray it is correct when and if I ever get to drive it. That's at least a year away, if I'm lucky.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
