Re: MustangSteve Bash 2020 Corona Virus Concerns

If worse comes to worse, we will have a virtual bash on April 25..  We can all Put our bash shirts on, post pictures of ourselves and our cars on the forum, and maybe even a picture of our meal for the day and our favorite beverage.  And have a lively discussion about the trip that should have been.

The real discussion?   What parts are you going to buy with the hotel, gas and dining money you didn’t have to spend???

So, no matter what, save the date April 25 for either the real thing or a virtual car show.

Since the hotel is ok with only a three day cancellation notice, Maybe we can move the final decision date to April 15 instead of March 29.

If we post pics, let's wait until we receive our bash tee shirts first.....

As of today, we can no longer leave Oz ... and lose 2.5 large in fees. Our business has come to a halt with the ban on crowds.
Could do with some Yuengling myself right bout now.

That's a very hearty virus that seemingly just won't die!

I'm good with waiting until 4/15 too.  I've got trip insurance, so I can cancel up to the day before I leave if needed.  Probably the best $50 I've spent this year...

Re: MustangSteve Bash 2020 Corona Virus Concerns

Barry, we are so sorry about this.  After our PMs a few days ago I had an itchy-twitchy feeling that this is where it was heading for you.  Please give our best to Leonie.  Jack will also be bummed that he won't get to visit a bit with you.
Stay well, my friend.  Use the time to work on thatgreen 67.

Karol & I are bummed along with ya. We were looking forward to huddling up with Y'all getting ideas and making plans for next springs trip Down Under. May have to make a Skype or Whats app connection. Karol is really wanting to sit & plan with Leone.
That is a hefty fee tariff, especially since Ya cant ply your trade. looking hard to find the bright side.

Re: MustangSteve Bash 2020 Corona Virus Concerns

I like the idea of a virtual bash it would get more involve that couldn't go in the first place. I missed the one with BB in Montrose by a week but we did get to spend some time with Bob and his wife, what wonderful people they are.

Re: MustangSteve Bash 2020 Corona Virus Concerns

Dam Barry...that hurts me to read it.

I can deal with a April 15 deadline, but I don’t think it will help.

I am good with a virtual Bash or postponed to later in the year or both.
