Partial tranny hump installed. Thanks, Al Newman for the "hump" section. I trimmed it to accept a Fox T5 lower seal and to clear my console window switches, flanged it, poked 3/16" holes all the way around and welded it in there. The next piece goes in tomorrow. Former residential air conditioner cabinet will form the rest of the hump. Gotta pull the engine and tranny out of the way first.
I hope to finish out the hump sections from below so all this work is not noticeable.
My new helper, Tyler is learning... He commented today "You got the emergency brake lever in there!" A month ago, he did not know an emergency brake lever from a muffler bearing. Good kid to have around...
