TIME TO GET A NEW RADIATOR

MY 66 HAS THE 24 INCH RADIATOR UPGRADE AND ALSO CUT THE METAL OUT ON BOTH SIDES TO GET MAX AIR FLOW AND THE SHELBY FRONT APRON. ITS BEEN IN SINCE 2005 OR SO NOTICED ITS WEEPING A LITTLE.

WHAT IS YOUR GO TO RADIATOR PLACE THESE DAYS??

IT WAS HARD TO FIND A SHROUD LAST TIME .....SO GONNA MAKE SURE OR AT LEAST TRY TO CHOOSE ONE THAT HAS A GOOD SHROUD CHOICE FOR IT.

Re: TIME TO GET A NEW RADIATOR

Weeping??? Like leaking around the bottom, or something?  How bout getting it repaired?   If not......get a replacement IF the one you have now served you well!?!
Alum. ones are "shiney" butt-knot necessarily the  best for cooling.

Re: TIME TO GET A NEW RADIATOR

The Champion line of rads are a reasonably priced offering as long as you can deal with the  crappy looking top tank.

Re: TIME TO GET A NEW RADIATOR

I went with a standard size 18" 2 core, 1" tube by Champion and after finding some of my other heat problem I am pleased with it. I have AC too. Vert50 did a 24" cross flow on his car with the inlet and outlets on the same side, that's a good Idea but I haven't heard how well it has been working yet
I think the Champion radiators are well made and yes the tanks do look weirder.

Slammed Big Blue, ran over the varmints that messed with the Stang. Now all is good in the NW
