Worked on the 66 today

Me and the son were able to work on the mustang together today.  What a great feeling after not touching it for a while.  I let him loose on welding up the small holes from the body trim/emblems on the fender we picked up a few months back.  I gave him a piece of brass and showed him what to do and walked away.   I felt he was ready to weld without me standing over him and he did a great job.

We also tore down the old rusty back seat I picked up for $20 to test fit and practice on fitting the DSE mini tub mod we did to the car.  We installed the side panels and it looks like a pretty straight forward mod to get the back seat to fit.  We will have to curve the back upper seat about mid point down and then start to narrow it by about an inch on each side.  The seat base will need to be recurved and brought in and the furthest point point back by an inch on each side.  Again I think it will be pretty straight forward.  I will sit on the thought of what needs to be done and then tackle it.  Once I get the rusty seat frame fitted then onto the better seat frames we have.
