Ring Bros Mustangs

Take a look at the Ring Bros' Mustangs.  Gorgious!.  I particularly like the gray one.  It's front facia is perfect for what I would do if upgrading mine.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

They all look very expensive and pretty.
Other than being carefully pushed on and off a trailer for photo shoots, I doubt if they are drivable in real world everyday conditions.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

Rudi. I agree.  The black and gray ones' front tires look like they will rub in a turn.  I've had that condition and it made my car almost undrivable.  I had to put on smaller front tires and a spring spacer too.  It now works ok, but I liked the stance better before the spacer.

And I prefer 16" wheels to 17's.  The proportions are better.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

Yeah, 17’s don’t do much for me, although the next two sizes up have a way better tire selection than the 15 inch I have. Pretty well stuck with BFG Radial  T/A.
16” might be the answer but no way I am changing rims.

Air suspension as well, could be jacked up for parking and driveway ramps.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

I wonder..........if the front A-arms are custom made 'shorter' to get-back a little room for turning?! (Like RPM's custom front suspension)

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

My arms aren't any shorter than stock, but they might do that on theirs. You can also use a shorter spindle (Mustang II or Wilwood) that fits inside the wheel, which allows more tire and wheel inboard.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

Bob, your arms are way longer than mine.
You could drive my car from the back seat.🤣

Definitely custom suspensions.

Re: Ring Bros Mustangs

I was looking at 315 tire options for my build.  But I think the 315 may be just a tad to tight for my liking so I started looking and a size smaller and sadly the 18 inch tire selection is great than the 17 inch tire options.  I really don't want an 18 inch rim on my 66.  But those builds just look like they do the larger rim size justice.
