That is a really nice looking car, except for the big "tars". 

One thing to note:  I hope that is a roller cam and not a flat tappet cam if that is a new engine.  If it is a flat tappet, he may have some wiped out cam lobes from not running it at a higher RPM for a while.

Put some decent wheels on it and that is one cool ride, though!

I was thinkin' the same thing, Steve, about his idle speed.  Even our 5,0 got 20 minutes at 2000 right out of the box.  Not taking any chances and, besides, that also seats the rings and makes sure everything else is gonna stayed glued together.
