Just installed the Summit Street Srtip Carb copy of 4100 Impressed

Right out of the box running great ,no real issues  idles great,I've noticed a Tremendous mid range difference it's not as fast on take off but I can live with that.
now I'm working on the curb idle while in gear( Doesn't idle a smooth as should sometimes wants to stall

I have noticed my transmission shifts are a bit harder on decel and going into 2nd coincidence? or
is it a vacuum thing, summit also sells some sort of adapter for C4 transmissions, SUM-M08070
I have to look into this and see if  this for my Carb overall, very happy,

I hope my mileage improves I took off an expensive brand New quick fuel street/ strip SS 650 as it was just way to much carb for my  289 mild builbuild and sucked tons of Fuel.

thoughts and advice always wewelcomed jimmy O

Probably 600, Still too high, IMHO, for a stockish 289.  That is why I scoured Ebay for my model correct 480 cfm Autolite 4100.

Good site,, It came out to a 570cfm for my car,  I bought this carb about 3 years ago and the only change I made was I install in one size up on jets,
