Thanks all for for the comments. Yes Dan defiantly a driver. Very solid car with an older repaint. A lot of little nicks and scratches but solid other than that. The guy I bought it off of had a old style lift in his garage, the kind with a large center post that retracts into the floor. Anyway I was able to get under her and really check it out. I was actually looking for a forth generation Bird, a family ride, when this one popped up, Brenda really liked it sooo. Just need to fix the AC and maybe add front disc brakes to make a better driver for Brenda. No take apart.

Excellent Walt! Hope you and Brenda have a great time with that. Any chance you guys can be at Huntsville in Sept? Sure would love to see you two again.

I'm glad you found something you like ... whats not to like bout a 59 square bird. Did you get lucky and find one with the 430? Factory air is nice to have.
Congrats!

No Barry, not a 430 a 352 but does have broken air. Needs repaired, he did give me an extra compressor. Mike it's a 59. As I stated i was looking actually for a 4th gen Bird when I bought this. 4 days after I brought it home a 65 was posted on facebook market place, 62000 original miles with original paint. I need to get rid of my internet.

Your own description, “DEFIANTLY a driver” will likely prove to be more true than you will ever want to admit.
A friend in Red Oak had one of those for a couple of years. Of course, he is not nearly as capable of keeping one on the road as you are.
I like that body style.

Sweet!

The front view is menacing too.
