I've decided to Go "Rogue" as someone told me ? Mis Vicki is not going and I'm Solo (not Han). Worked on car all year to be a quite highway cruiser (Borgenson PS, Dakota Digital gauges, cruise control, frame now straight after 34 years it has a correct alignment. Also modern quite radial tires ("sad" no white letters). New electronic distributor that is NOT leaking vacuum and is timed correctly. New modern radiator and AL water pump. Test 99 mile run, got 21.5 mpgs (ave 75 mph) with ac on. My bash run is all HW. Rt35 hw to OK city, right turn on rt44 to Springfield Mo. Stay there for night, route 66 museum is near hotel. Then on to Vandalia Ill. Return Sun on rt44 to Ok City for night, return to North Texas on hw rt35. Not a very fun route but gets me to the BASH. ooops for got to add that I found incorect ft springs were in there for 33 years that also messed up the frt end. car now sits "sweat".

Since my axle shaft seal repair on Sunday, I have a 1700 mile shake down as of tonight.
Hopefully I’m ready. 😁
