Merry Christmas from the great Pacific Northwest, even farther north - Seattle! Looking like we will have another white Christmas this year - already had 6 inches a couple of weeks back - that all melted, and now we are getting more tonight on top of the couple of inches we got yesterday. Expecting another eight inches tonight. Forecasting low of 16 and high of 24 on Thursday so it ain't gonna be melting soon. Mustangs are tucked snugly away in the garage.
Damned white stuff belongs in the mountains.

Merry Christmas from western Colorado. Harsh weather here too. Only got up to 38 yesterday with blue sky and bright sunshine. I had to use the heater in the Heap. I changed the oil and it was begging me to let it run a bit...so I did. I felt really bad for all you folks who have to lock up your classics for three or four months a year.
I hope you all have a great new year too and here's hoping we can ALL get together at the 20th BASH.

I was surprised that the climate is that mild in your parts of Colorado and you can drive the heap year round.

40 years ago we could count on about 24" total snow for the season. Last 20 years it runs to considerably less but cool....highs in the 30s and lows in the teens. Four years ago we counted just over 50" but that was very unusual. Not uncommon for the temps to bump the negative side but it doesn't last very long. This year it just doesn't seem to be able to make up it's mind. We don't normally get any "major" storms, they all just go around us due to the mountains all around. Really, it's the best four-season weather of anyplace I've seen or heard of.
Merry Christmas and HNY to you and your's, Rudi.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
