A little more progress painting

I took an extra few days off from work after our daughters wedding.  Today I was able to paint a few of the small parts.   Sadly the quarter panel extensions had some pin holes that showed up so they did not get color today.  I’ll do my best to try and paint the shell/body this weekend.

Once I get all the red sprayed and cleared.  I have to wet sand it all.  Put it all together and tape off for the stripes.  Paint the stripes and spray another 2-3 coats of clear.

Re: A little more progress painting

Everything that is suppose to be red is now red.  Had to fix two bad spots in the base coat.  One was my fault because I hit the quarter panel with the light.  Pout a small scratch in the base coat.  Took some time to fill and respray.  A couple of runs in the clear but nothing too noticeable.  Just happy to be making forward progress again.
