Off topic and cat related

Not sure if I can post this here and if not please remove it.  I just thought some of you would find this amusing.   I know we did.  And this has happened before.

Our cat decided to bring a friend inside last night to play.  He looks a little concerned.

You sure that owl didn't chase your cat into the house? Around here cats are not safe at all with an owl in the area.

Nope, our cat will drag everything it catches in the yard.  This is the second owl she’s caught.  Pretty sure the owl would not make it through two dog doors.  Our pool is screened in and has a dog door for the animals to get in and out.  Then we have another dog door for them to get in and out of the house.

These are burrowing owls so they don’t get much bigger than what you see in the picture.  They are all over place where I live.  Whenever I ride my bicycle in the morning I see several of them.   During the morning dog walks I’ll see at least one of them. The city protects them.  Mostly found living in empty lots.

I did.  I got him to fly down and land on the shower floor.  Then I just tossed a towel over him and carried him outside.
