Three month update after my surgery

First I want to tank everyone that has reached out, made posts, sent get well cards and had me in their thoughts and prayers.  It has been a  LONG three months!!  I have made a remarkable recovery thus far.  60% of people that go one hour untreated with the type of heart issue I had pass away and I went 47 days untreated.  I am just grateful to be alive.  They say recovery takes 6 months but at the 3 month mark I am finally starting to live life again.  I am walking 3 miles a day (hoping to get back to running in the next couple months) spending more time in the shop working on projects, and I was able to drive the Galaxie the other day for the first time this season... living in the frozen north the season is almost over.  Some how with my amazings wifes help I was able to stay on top of my business and fill orders from DazeCars and answer questions throuout all of this.  I am grateful for the support of this group and wish I could have made the bash.  I almost hopped a plain at the last minute but my wife and I decided I was not quite ready.  I should be there next year.

If it isn't broken...modify it anyway! http://www.DazeCars.com https://galaxieforum.boardhost.com

Re: Three month update after my surgery

Great to hear the news Day. I really enjoyed meeting you at last year's BASH and our extended discussion. Dan Jamison/Lieutenant Dan/NOS381 texted RPM and me. I've said a few prayers for you. You were definitely missed at the Bako BASH and I hope to see you at the future events.
Good health and many blessings to you.
RCodePaul (RPM's brother.)
