Just got to Cloudcroft, NM

Elevation 8,600’ and cold!
Two more days of driving until we get home Saturday night.

Car is running great.  Zero issues.  No effect from altitude.
So far I have idled 12 miles downhill in neutral at Sequoia National Park on some tight switchbacks and two miles on I-40 in Arizona in a construction zone on a very long downhill posted 75mph run.

Only thing showing wear and tear on the car is the gas tank filler neck and my butt.

3,100 miles traveled so far.  Two days to go.

Without any photos, it is all hearsay.

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

I am not big on taking a lot of pics. I prefer to just enjoy the moment.  But, here are a few.

Good shots, MS. I like the shot from the Twin Otter - and the one in front of it

Re: Just got to Cloudcroft, NM

Great Pics!  Just curious with the guys that do the long hauls in there Mustang.  Where do you park your stangs at the motel and when you make stops?  Do you worry about door dings and car theft?

Beautiful pictures.   That's a lot of miles in a vintage Mustang.
