Re: Another set back!!! Ugh

I wouldn’t make any changes until you have it on the ground and drive it.  When on jack stands, the rear wheels, suspension, etc. actions could be different than when driving.

65 Fastback, 351W, 5-speed, 4 wheel discs, 9" rear,  R&C Front End.

I'm not changing parts in hopes it'll go away.  My first thought and research said the pressure could be out of balance and even the manufacturer suggests it to be balanced.  While removing the flywheel and all I noticed the pilot bearing was damaged and the bad trans mount so they got replaced.   Not because I thought it would help but because they were damaged.

Reading up on the motor mounts I have they do in fact transmit more engine vibrations.

In the mean time I'm sitting at the DMV trying to get the title transferred into my name.  This will be an all day task.  While I wait I look up different insurance options.

It interesting that it appears with dealing with DMV in any US state is a time-consuming effort and causes much angst.  Good luck.

I couldn't believe how fast I got in and out with no appointment.   They were booked 30days.  Sadly I forgot I needed insurance to get tags.   I'll research more insurance options and go back on Monday.

Hoping to drive it around the block today or tomorrow.
