Finally found a nice original 66 hood!

Got it for $150!!!  Been looking for over 20 years for one!

Also saw a TCP power R&P at the New Braunfels swap meet today for $125.  All boots were intact.  I probably should have bought it but already have one used one sitting on the floor.  Anybody want it?? Needs reseal and boots.

Yesterday I bought over $1500 worth of brand new pony interior parts for &150. I found somebody that cleaned out an abandoned storage rental unit
Most of it is stuff i would need for my convertible.

I do have Daniel Carpenter 65-66 coupe side rail weatherstrip and back glass weatherstrip new in package if anyone needs it. $15 ea plus ship, or come get it.

Re: Finally found a nice original 66 hood!

I'm taking the kids to the spring Carlisle this coming Friday.  If there's anything anyone is needing let me know and I'll take a list with me.  This event is pretty much all makes and models, but given the size of the meet it tends to have a lot of stuff.  So really, anything you need; doesn't have to be Mustang or even Ford related.  The Ford only one is in June I believe.  I may go to that one too, but I'll have to see if I have the time.

Re: Finally found a nice original 66 hood!

Ford Carlisle is June 6-8 this year.  And the NSRA's East Nationals in York, PA is the same w/e.  Can't make either again this year due to grandkids birhtdays.

Wish I knew, I have an original hood up in the garage sitting for the last 15 years. Would have been a little hard to ship.
Sound like that was a pretty productive day.

I'm thinking of going to the Ford one myself this year. Haven't been there in a while.

Re: Finally found a nice original 66 hood!

Was it the Parchment color you were looking  for Steve??

Re: Finally found a nice original 66 hood!

The parts are parchment, but I am thinking I would prefer palomino or saddle color.  Can be dyed.
