HOPEFULLY, you will be able to see it at the bash. Now I need a front end alignment and MSD is overnighting a new fuel pressure regulator. The one I bought from them ($490 kit for return line kit) is leaking fuel. So, I still cannot drive the car until the new one gets here Saturday.
I am going to go put freon in the new AC unit tonight or in the morning.
A very big THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU go out to Hornman for finding a new MSD6A box, going opposite direction to get it from a speed shop about 30 miles from here, and then coming back across town to bring it to me, Had he not done that, the car would not have had a chance of making the trip. This forum has once again created great friendships that provide an avenue to get help when you need it. I did not know Hornman before he joined the forum.
All of these problems were caused by a faulty MSD6AL Digital box that was brand new. I will be calling SUMMIT tomorrow to get them to take that one back.

Sounds like good progress. You would have been much further along without the faulty parts.
Try not to take anything else apart before the Bash!

MS, this DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) technology that I even didn't know existied until a couple of weeks ago made me think about your 427 emblems and how to make them. The commercially available machine that they use in the video below is "just" $850,000. But maybe that jewelers saw you bought was cheaper?

When you called Summit Racing you should of asked for the Counterfeit MSD6A box...![]()

MS I saw your comment about fuel pressure regulator and return line kit? did you go with fuel injection on the 427? if not unsure why you boutht the return line kit?

I just took the first drive. It now has almost one mile on the engine. Got the A/C charged up this morning. The power of this engine is nothing short of explosive. Streets are wet from rain so I can't really do much. I'll get the hood on afterwhile, hope to take it for alignment in the morning. I would do it myself but I am just worn out from the bash thrash. Now I have three days to get miles on it and then retorque the heads. This enters the BASH THRASH DASH phase of the project.
