Finally installed horns

Like everything I do I can tend to procrastinate a little.  I kept thinking I would order the horns when I had something else to order.  Well I finally ordered the horns and I'm very impressed with them.  I bought the universal horns NPD sells.

Oh and guess what happened after I ordered the horns.    My drivers door window regulator broke.  Lol

Re: Finally installed horns

What brand and for what year vehicle are those horns? Reason I axe is the hot tip from the Buzek Brothers is to use the 2001-03 F150 horns, as they are LOUD! I put them on mine along with the Bullet Bob horn rewire and relay to outstanding results.

Re: Finally installed horns

The horns are very loud.  I'm very pleased with them.  I had to add a relay to the flaming River tilt column for the horn but I did all that wiring with all the other wiring during the build.  I can't post pictures I took with my phone screen.  Keeps giving me an error saying I can't post them. Here's a link to the horns.

Re: Finally installed horns

I think the regulator failed because a piece of felt was binding up the glass when rolling it up and down.   Which caused the regulator to strip out.  I have used one installed now and it's smooth as butter. I'm sure the aftermarket one would have been to if I hadn’t assumed it was bad from the get go.
