    Mecum Auction Dallas Sept 3-6

    Anybody going ?  1000 cars all for viewing.  My young bride and I will be attending on Fri.  NOT buying,, did I mention I have a young (56) bride?

    I would like to go.  One of Kat's friends has an original 71 Mustang convertible that will be there Friday.  Supposedly one of three special ordered by a dealer to have all the options of a MACH I without actually being a MACH I (there are no MACH I convertibles).

    I don't know if that makes it rare or collectible, but it will be there.  Watch for the dark gold colored convertible.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

    I will be there at least Wednesday and Friday. There is a 69 fastback with 302 up on Wednesday, but I have promised not to buy any cars at this auction. But you know how that goes.

    Yep, that's it.  Might be a real rare car, but does that add any value?
