INFORMATION for 2015 MustangSteve BASH.

BOOK YOUR ROOMS NOW.   Edited 12/16/2014

I am looking at 2015 BASH venues in the New Braunfels/Wimberley, San Antonio TX area.  I have a few possibilities, one of which is an old hunting lodge, now a hotel, that has 21 rooms available.  Lodging and the BASH could possibly take place at the same location.  I am also considering having the bash catered during the car show, just to avoid having to deal with cooking and food/drinks when there is no local host.

This is a totally new type idea for the bash, but I think it has been leaning towards something like this for a few years now.  I want to try and find a place with a big pavilion and maybe even on-site lodging.

How many would consider coming to this bash?  I need to get something booked before too long, as stuff in this area tends to book long in advance.  Typical room rates in this area are around $110 per night.  Of course, local hotels can also offer alternative places to stay.

One place has Sept 12 weekend available with most others already booked, so time would be around then.

How many would consider coming?  I am just trying to get an idea at this point, so you are not making a commitment at this time.  I just need to know how big a place we need.  I am thinking local resident participation will be invited but not widely advertised, so the main FYIFORD group is likely to be the only ones there.

As of now, Dec 5, 16 of the 21 rooms have been claimed.  Don't wait too long!  I will research other hotels close by the main one also.

Re: INFORMATION for 2015 MustangSteve BASH.

Mr & Mrs TimC will make every effort to be there.  For sure would need to be part of a pack if we were gonna drive 2500 miles in the 65.....

Never too early to start thinking about cruise gangs.  We could head over to Amarillo and hook up with folks coming down from the north.  Or, go down through NM and hook up with anyone coming from SoCal.  NorCalers or those from further north can come through here and pick up Jean and I like Mr. and Mrs. 68Mustang did in 2010.
Arranging touring partners is never perfect...we went 300 miles east to hook up with the Texas/Florida gang before heading north toward Kalispell in 2011.  All great fun.

hummm U haul ??? just kidding,, get that five speed dialed in.  Working ac (Texas remember) and have a blast.  Meet up with three or four of us (maybe we'll let Steve drive with us)  in the Dallas area and have a nice caravan the last 300 miles.

Been through that area many times.  I'll bet folks from out of state have no idea Texas can look like that.  I hope to be there.
