Anna and I were invited to go to a car show with a local car club, we entered into the 1964-1994 Mustang class. We received the HIGHLY COVETED "Casa and Chrome" Taco Casa 1st place. This prestigeous award gave us a 50% off coupon for tacos. So eat your heart out guys or else these tacos will.
It was a beautiful day here in Texas and we enjoyed going out to see some beautiful cars.
I am hanging this fine achievement right next to the clock I won at the 2014 Bash.

Sweet! Congrats on your award! Wish our weather was car show friendly - gotta wait a while yet.
The only other Major Award I can think of is "the old man's Major Award" leg lamp in the Christmas Story.... :-)

Congrats Ed and Anna! a well deserved award!

Big congrats! I enjoyed the weather, but not the raking of leaves and cutting down of tree limbs while staring at my two unfinished projects...

Congratulations! And, that's a nice shade of blue on the Mustang.

Ron you got the intended sarcasm directed at the Christmas Story. Trying to keep the Bumpkiss Hounds out of the house right now.

You got a very nice car, well deserved. Are you bringing tacos to the bash?

Very Nice, Mochaman. I love that car. Congrats.
I didn't realize people drove their cars in February. While you, reportedly, had your car to a show in your short sleeves, I drove the 4WD truck to my storage container, shovelled 2 feet of snow away from the door so I could peek inside. Yep, the 65 was in there, no new stains on the floor, all the mouse poison was still untouched, no roof leaks. It was then time to go back home to throw another log on the fire. Kinda like the groundhog seeing his shadow......
As others have mentioned, I guess you are bringing tacos to the BASH. See you in Sept, and greeting to Mrs. Mm.

Josh, Truth be told..... we took a road trip to the Lone Star state a couple o' weeks ago. Saw the JFK stuff in DFW. Spent a wad in San Anton, made a day trip to Corpus Christi, (loved crawling all over the USS Lexington) and, yes, used the a/c while we were there. Yes, the women folk insisted I do a drive by in Round Top on the way back north. I conceded that if RT had to be seen, January would be ok with me.
I still can't believe all the old iron I see on the road, and sitting in people yards. Never happens up north, as you well know.
Keeping it Ford related, we did drop in at MS's place to pick up some parts.
Apologies to Ed, if it looks like his thread is commandeered.

My dirtbag neighbors down the street have that lamp in their front window.
It probably sounds funny to have that, but, what a bunch of trash-a-holics!
