Re: FYIFORD Member needs some moral support

I wish I could do more than offer encouragement.  If I was nearby, I'd help as best I can.

I also have back issues, but mine is kind of bizarre.  I can lift a refridgerator on a pickup myself and have zero pain.  No pain the rest of the day, that night, next moring.  But about 24 hours after I over extend, it feels like someone comes up and knifes me in the small of my back.  Can barely walk for 5 days and have pain and stiffness for 4 to 6 weeks.  I over extended yesterday (self employed, no real choice) and dread mid afternoon today.

John, thanks for the kind offer.  Fortunately I have a pretty good network arround here.  And I keep thinking of ways to lift stuff without using my back....like with the cherry picker for anything over ten pounds.  Right now I'm designing a device to allow Jean to lift the equalizer hitch so I can slide it into the receiver on the truck.  Kind of a small A-frame affair, I think.

On top of all else, the 5hp motor on my vertical 80 gallon air comp died.  Had a buddy come over and lift the old one off and set the new one on.  Then I did the hook-up.  Couldn't get the cherry picker in there.  LOL

Thank again guys for the kind words.  Hope to see you all in Sept.
