It was here since before Thanksgiving, and just now got picked up. Hate to see it go!
In that time, I boxed the front frame rails, installed a 2005 Crown Vic front suspension and 8.8" rear axle, installed new gaskets on the 302, added radiator, shroud and serpentine belt system from an 89 Lincoln MK VII, shorty ceramic Fox headers, installed the C-6 tranny, built a mini console with a Mustang shifter, completely rewired the entire truck, built a custom steering column, spent two days welding up holes in the firewall, reworked the tail gate using stainless steel seat belt buckles for latches, and widened the exterior of the bed 2" per side, moving out the fenders in a way where you cannot easily detect the widening. Also removed three leafs from the stock rear springs to get the desired ride height.
Fun project, and that truck ran and drove like a luxury car.

Great project, MS. Looks good. Nothing like a bunch of custom stuff to keep the juices flowing. I sold my 55 half-ton in 82...kinda wish I'd kept it.

I like it! MS what is your opinion on the width of the IFS and wheel appearance/fitment ? I was thinking of going this route on my 56 F-100.

Enjoyed seeing the truck throughout the modification process. MS did some very creative work.

Nice! I would love to take on a project like that. Is that my old shifter? If so it looks better there than on the floor of my barn.lol

Damn, that's a lot of work in a short amount of time. Looks killer!

Nice job MS! I didn't realize the CV front end would fit a 50's truck. I would have thunk the frame would be more narrow.

Cool truck.

Crownvic front end fit perfectly. Frame is right width from 53-on. CV rear axle was 4" too wide. That is why I moved each rear fender outboard 2".
Deep backspacing wheels required. 16x7 shown. We will be test fitting the 17x8 Bullitt wheels.
