The 4th on the 1st of July Party.
Anna and I would like to invite everyone out to help celebrate our great nation. The Forth celebration is on
Saturday 1 July this year. We plan to start around 6PM (1800).
We are proud to have the band "Strange Robotic" perform this year. Strange Robotic is a local Dallas Band that fuses Rock, Pop and Jazz and makes it their own sound. This is a fantastic family friendly rock band. We will pass around a tip jar to help gather up some funds... to help defray the costs
of the gas and effort they put into entertaining the crowd.
Food theme will be good old Texas BBQ pulled pork, with Beans n' Fixings, Oh yeah! We would appreciate side dishes and desserts.
Please bring Fireworks. We live outside city limits, so Big Boom fireworks are highly encouraged. If you can afford one, please bring at least one big boom. We also have areas that are for the little kids so bring sparklers and such for the young uns.
Home Brew: If you are a brewer, I encourage you to bring a sample. I have 10 gallons right now. OK maybe 7 gallons because of samplings.
Things to bring:
. Fireworks (If you have kids bring some kid friendly ones) If you can afford please bring Big Booms too.
. Food/Desserts
. Drinks (Adult or kid friendly)
. Lawn chairs
. Kids
. Bags of Ice
. Water Balloons/Water Guns
. Home Made Ice Cream
. BUG SPRAY!Homemade ice cream has been a big hit in the past. If you'd like to bring homemade ice cream please bring all the ingredients and we can put young arms to use churning out ice cream.
We hope to see everyone there.
Everything is really wet right now, so there isn't a fire danger so bring on the BOOMS!

Cathie and I are interested.
The way your invitation reads, it looks like you are expecting 200.
Offline
We are expecting between 110-150 this year. Last year we had about 110.
Offline
There will be a section of the front where all the Mustangs can park.
Offline
Love to be able to participate but Vancouver WA is just a little too far away.

Dang Ed, I sure wish Jean and I...and the Heap...could make it but no can do this year. See you kids in FWB.

That's really nice Ed. I wish Cindy and I lived closer. It would be a long run from Michigan. I hope all our Texas friends have a great time.

Baked beans and corn bread sounds good.
Band venue changed.
Country Western band The Garage Door Band. Is now playing. The band's guitar lead quit or something.
Starts around 6pm.

Wish I could make it, but unfortunately I'm on call for work this weekend.

80 pounds of pork smoked pulled and ready to serve. The band set up the stage tonight. We drank and hung out for about 3 hours. These guys are serious entertainers. I can't wait to hear them tomorrow night, some of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. This is going to be a great night.

Y'all enjoy the party.

It was a great party. A little over 100 people. Hornman and his better half showed up. We had a handful of the late model mustangs from NTXMS club plus one Lightning Truck. Band was fantastic and very entertaining. Highly recommend them from the Texas bar jam sound.
We do this every year to celebrate 'Murica'.
