Good grief. Giv'em time to dry off their cars. π

It's typically announced at the end of the Bash. Just thought I'd ask since I left early.

I vote for Clinton township (I think that's right), Michigan home of Bob and Cindy Charlton. I enjoy going places I've never been.

I second the Michigan trip

I've only been to one bash in 2014 but being from Wisconsin I would try like heck to make it to Michigan.

just a WAG but I'd say it will be where ever we are!! I'd say put it to a vote and let the members on here decide where it will be. I'll gladly pay for my meal!

Dang Bob, Ya drove all that way and didn't get your "Long Haul" Award.
Glad you made the trip and to have met you.

The 2018 BASH will be held in Glen Rose, TX
To be hosted by Steve & Deborah Gray
Date TBD, but likely Sept or Oct.
THERE WILL BE NO HURRICANE, but I cannot guarantee there won't be rain, hail or a tornado.

After all these years I might coax the 68 to make Michigan my first bash.
Offline
If Glen Rose, TX, then we could work in some open track time at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson/Granbury

And to think the award was the only reason I made the trip I too am glad I made the trip and met you, along with many other fine guys. For years I envisioned this Corky character to be some crotchety old guy, you are far from it. Again, thanks for hosting the bash.

That's 51 miles from my house, so I will plan on driving one of my old Fords, just so I don't have to listen to MS gritch about me not driving my cars. Terry should ship his fastback to my house and we could drive down together.

RPM, crotchety or no, I can be real nice to anyone who'll buy me a lunch;)
And now i hold the disction of being the only FYI Forum member to host two BASH'es (MS doesn't count fer obvious reasons) Karol has allowed as how we've met our quota and won't be doing another, so all we have to do is attend and enjoy. Leaving the accolades to others.
On to Glen Rose!!

Gee, I don't know, Ron. That's quite a long way for 50+ year old cars. I mean, the upper control arms might fall off, or something.

Nah, I don't allow anyone to work on my cars, that is why it takes me so long to finish them.

235 miles for me, probably can make it on one tank (20 gallon not 16). π
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
