Re: 67 mirror on a 66 GT350

When I first walked up to the car and saw the mirror, my first thought was about your post, and my second though was... that does not look bad at all.

But, I would think a brand new 67-70 mirror such as that one probably has the same stability problem as a brand new 65-66 mirror.  So, what is the gain.  He just happened to have an original FORD 67 mirror to use and it does not easily move around.  When mine get loose, I will just do the epoxy thing to them like I did my previous set.

Bottom line:  Nobody is going to berate you if you install a mirror of your choice on your Mustang.

Re: 67 mirror on a 66 GT350

My 'bud' has a set on his 66. Looks reallllly super! The square design sorta compliments the square-ish front/hood of the 66.
I'm think'in maybe when I replace my mirrors.
I lik'em!

Re: 67 mirror on a 66 GT350

I ORIGINALLY WANTED TO PUT 69 MACH ONE ON MY 66 BUT AFTER I SAW GLEN'S WITH THE 93 CONVERTIBLE MIRRORS I WENT WITH THEM....HE GAVE ME THE SPECIAL RUBBER/SPACER/GASKET THAT GOES ON PASSENGER SIDE AT A BASH I BELIEVE WHEN HE CAME TO THE BASH I HOSTED IN CARROLLTON GEORGIA AND I LOST IT BEFORE I PUT IT ON ....I REALLY NEED TO FIND ONE OF THE GASKETS.

Its really me....I fixed my caps lock .
