Help on wiring Harness for back-up and neutral safety

Can anybody check these wiring harness connections in this pic. The wire colors don't match the wiring diagrams from Ford. This is on a 65 with a manual transmission and rear back-up lights.
Thanks

Re: Help on wiring Harness for back-up and neutral safety

What seams to be the question as if they are for the NSS then they are from the starter circuit. I would think I taped into them for my alarm kill and it works fine, same wires.

Slammed Big Blue, ran over the varmints that messed with the Stang. Now all is good in the NW

Re: Help on wiring Harness for back-up and neutral safety

The info on the picture provided agrees with the wiring diagram manuals I have for both the 65 & 66 Mustangs.  The back-up light circuit is wire #140, black-red.  The courtesy lights are wire #32, red-black.
I will add that the 65 wiring diagram does not include a page for the "Ignition, Starting and Charging" diagram as the 66 manual does.  This diagram in the 66 manual shows the "32" wire single connectors that you have pointed to.
Send me a PM with your email address and I'll forward some info.

Re: Help on wiring Harness for back-up and neutral safety

Are you trying to figure out where the harness connects to the car wiring?  There is a bullet plug up high under the dash where two wires plug into each other on manual trans cars.  You unplug those and the NS wire plugs into each loose end.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

I was trying to find out where the wires go with the arrows because the wire colors don't match
