Are these on correct sides or do I have them one backwards. I notice the the one on the right side is beefier. Should they be on the rear side of the shock towers?

The forgings bolted to the tower look right. My 66 has early mounts and that looks just like mine. You may have to mess with the rubber mounts and the stampings that bolt to the block but if its' wrong it'll be too far back for the studs to drop through the holes when it gets to the trans. I'll try to get some pix tomorrow but I'll likely have to email them to you, Chris.

Thanks Bob.. I think I got it found on the net but would like to be sure incase I ever get to install a new motor. By the time I do they will be outdated and Evo will be the thing running on Duracell

Passenger side 65 mount
As for the motor mounts, I used the transmission mount as my reference point to figure it out.
The angle bracket and motor mount are indexed with stud on mount. So those two pieces assemble only one way correctly. It will be obvious when placing stud into frame bracket. If you have the part number on the mounts will help identify left/right.
Passenger side 66-70 mount
66-70 motor mount are same on both sides.
Frame bracket bolts together in front of shock tower.

I guess I was not making my self clear, as I do often. I was asking about the frame casting mounts and if they go on the front or rear of the towers?
