Re: ADJUSTABLE T5 TRANSMISSION MOUNT

Not that I've ever seen, but most times it seems the rear of the trans wants to go upwards, so a piece of flat plate in the appropriate thickness can just be used as a shim.  Making the mount shorter would be more complicated, and the best option would probably be to modify the mounting pad on the crossmember to lower it.

This is the only adjustable one I remember reading about.

I have a Modern driveline cross member in my 65.
I chose mine for exhaust clearance.

Re: ADJUSTABLE T5 TRANSMISSION MOUNT

O'Reilly's sells the shims to change your pinion angle.  That's what I used.

WHERE DO THE SHIMS GO?

Between the leaf springs and the axle housing mounting pads.

THATS WHAT I FIGURED,,,,I GUESS I WILL SEE HOW LOW IT SETS AND I COULD POSSIBLY USE THE CORRECT SHIM TO CORRECT ANGLE AND LOWER IT MORE IF NEEDED.
