Conferment of Accolades

Hail the conquering hero who hath engaged yon laggard, fire-breathing turn signal switch in battle and who has thus deposed the despised indolent and treacherous functionary.  VICTORY OR DEATH!!! carried the battle to success.

It wasn't hard but not easy either - a 2 day pitched battle (including refinishing the insides of the rear light buckets since they were kind of cruddy).  I suppose I'm making too much of it but even these relatively small efforts seem major accomplishments to me anymore.

Oh well.  Hopefully I won't have to fix that ever again - it's a $100+ OE switch from eBay.

I need to tackle mine.  Got any extra dragon slayer magic dust laying around?   Maybe a round-tuit?

The one thing I have become expert at is procrastination so sorry, can't help with the round tuit.  Dragon slayer dust may be a possiblity though.

Have to confess I had a scare.  After I got finally got everything plugged in under the dash I put the negative cable on the battery and pushed the brake pedal while watching the garage door for light reflections.  Nothing.   I was pretty unhappy until I realized that I hadn't put the rear light buckets and bulbs back in yet.  Things worked much better after I finished that.

Everything you do, is one less thing to do before you're done. Small steps count too.
