There used to be a ride height pages on the website, but that has gone now. I wanted to see what ride height set ups everyone else had on their cars.
Parked on a level garage floor, I measure from the floor to the highest point of the wheel arch on the front and back.
Front measures 25-1/2 inches
Rear measures 26 inches

Front measures 13-1/2 inches from center cap
Rear measures 14 inches from center cap
I would like to lift the back a little higher, maybe an inch or so to get that "So Cal" raked look. Oh and I'm probably the only person in the world who hasn't done the Shelby drop...
What do you guys have on your cars?

In order to remove tire size from the equation ( most have different sizes) measure from the center of the wheel centercap to the top of the wheelwell opening. That way, only the springs and other suspension parts are affecting the measurement, not the tire size.
I am sorry Michael has let alot of pertinent info be removed, whether accidentally or whatever. Maybe it will show up again someday. Meanwhile, we should start a thread on this forum in the tips and How-To section.

Any updates on people's ride heights with their Mustangs? Perhaps a photo and some measurements can be posted on this topic?

65 Fastback. As measured using center of cap to wheelhouse opening.
Front: 12.25", Rear: 13.50"
Tires: 225/60-15"
Avatar picture is slightly higher then the above specs.

Looking at the picture of your car I would lower the front. If you did the Shelby drop it would probably look just right.
To give you a dimension and measuring point depends on so many variables. The 1969 and 1970 Bud Moore Trans Am cars were 7" from the pivot point of the lower control arm to the ground.

Rear wheel height 13 1/4"
Front wheel height 12"
I measured twice and this is watt-eye got! Thought it was more!

You are probably right... But I completely re-did the front end not that long ago and didn't do the Shelby drop. How is that for being a total dummy! At this stage, I don't want to mess with the front again for a while. I did fit 1" lower springs, so MAN... it must have sat real high in the front.
I'm hoping to raise the rear just a little, but don't know. You guys seem to be showing measurements of 12" on the front and that does look nice!

66 Convertible, 13-1/2 front, 14-1/2 rear, both measured from center of wheel to highest wheel opening point. Standard leaf springs in rear, V8 springs in front with 1/4 coil removed and Arning mod done. I have not changed the front V8 springs since putting the 250 I6 in and I think maybe they are a bit too stiff for the engine but it does drive well and I don't think I'd change the "stance" much. Sorry about the crummy photo. The car is confined to the garage while I tidy up some wiring under the hood.

Wow, you are measuring 13-1/2" even with the Shelby drop. That is very surprising!
I think the measurements that you have on your car is what I am aiming for (until I get around to doing the Shelby drop). Did you have a better side photo?

Not handy. I hope to have the car running today or tomorrow and will shoot another photo when I can get it outside. The springs are the same ones I was using when I had the 351 in it, other than having cut a quarter coil off because I thought it sat too high after I swapped in the I6. I think that the 250 is lighter, which is why the front is still kind of high. It was lower with the V8 - maybe an inch - but I can't tell you exactly how much because I never measured it.

I agree that the Shelby drop would put the car at the right stance and will drive soooo much better. That I must say was the best mod I have done to my car.

Your ride heights look great guys.
I would suggest adding information on springs, shocks, blocks, and any other modifications as well...4 link, air bags, Shelby/Arning drop, etc.
Please add tire and wheel information if available too.
I know it doesn’t change the height, visually it can make it look different.
Something I learned as a kid, have the sun to your back when taking pictures if possible. So ya don’t have shadows on the face. LOL
You can see more details on height.

65 289, Shelby drop, 225x60x15 TAs, Grab-a-trax 620 coils front not cut w/3/8" coil pad, Grab-a-trax mid eye 4 leaf rear. KYB gas a just shocks on all 4, spare tire floor jack in trunk
Ft 13-3/16", Rr 14-1/8"
