What spare tire do you have? My 17" rims barely fit with spacers. So I was thinking it would have to be a 18" spare tire. I was wondering if a newer ford explorer or something similar will work that doesn't have the Mustang price tag.

Thanks guys! When I go to car shows I usually don't have the spare. But driving around or to work I like to have it just in case.

I always carry a spare. Never used it on the '66 since new! And when I installed the 12" rotors I got a 16" spare.
The GT has one too. I ordered it as an add on. Ford thinks a squirrelly little air pump can refill it even when the bead is broken. I've used it twice. When getting flats. Nails in the road.
