    Raymond B or TKO.....Question

    I know you guys have messed around with Ford ECMs but do you have any experience tuning EEC IV.  Specifically, the CBAZA used in the 94 -95 Mustang GT w/autobox?

    I tuned a few back in the day. Pretty straight forward, a lot is similar to Fox stuff, but there are some significant differences like trans control, little more complicated spark and the like. Is there an issue you're working on?

    Yes Raymond, I'm having a problem with transmission control.  The Torque Converter locks up and works just fine in 2nd and 3rd gear but will not stay locked in 4th (OD).  It locks up then unlocks after about five seconds.  Same circuitry so it seems like it just about has to be some parameter in the tune.  Just wondered if you've had any experience you can share. 
    Everything else seems to be great.

    If I remember right it is a simple TPS (usually in AD counts) vs MPH scalar. So it will lock at a specific MPH depending on the throttle position. I am assuming you've set all that but it still unlocks?

    Well, I thought I did.  Even sent the tune file to the guru and he offered some  changes but no joy.  Next plan is dig through everything that effects  TCC looking for any "overlaps" or conflicts. 
    Thanks for any ideas you think of.  This is a weird one....gotta be in the tune somewhere.

    Can you post a screenshot of your lock and unlock settings?

    Yeah, can't help with that specific one.  My buddy and I messed with the one in his '95 Cobra, but its a manual trans, so I never monkeyed with the automatic settings.
