    What's what?

    My car originally came with a 250 - 6 cylinder. I learned later that the 250 through the 35W, the chassis was all the same. So I made some changes. It came with manual steering and I converted to Ford power steering and recently to Borgeson. I put all the manual steering stuff back on, I think. Because I kept all the original parts I have both the power and manual pitman arms and idler arms. Does any one know the physical difference between the two? I think I put the wrong pitman arm back on.

    I don't know about your 70, but my 68 was originally a T-code with a 200 in it with manual steering.  I converted to a 351W and to a Borgeson power steering system with the Granada front spindles and disc brakes. All the steering linkages were the same for the 6 or 8 cylinder cars after 67, I believe. I used the same Pitman arm from my 68 Ford manual box on the Borgeson box.

    68 coupe - 351W, 4R70W, 9" 3.25 -- 65 convertible - 289 4v, C4, 8" 3.00

     The 170 and 200 were the only chassis that had 4 lug nuts instead of 5. I don't know what arm(s?) they used. The pitman arm was changed in the middle of 68 to a bigger 1 1/2 inch steering box stud change.

    I just found out what I am asking for can't happen. The one for power steering is a female fitting and the one with manual is male fitting to the center link. To make it work I would need to install the power steering center link with the extra part that eliminates the power valve that Borgeson sent with the kit.
