I'm sure probably some if not all of you have seen this build thread but seriously I loved every 17 pages of it.
I also found finally a good resource for drip rail removal and repair.
Also a newer product thats offered from are friends from Down Under. Some us may find useful .

I wish the customer would've opted to keep the drip rail though.

I follow him over on the SPI forums, he does CRAZY disassembly and overall outstanding work. And his name is Rusty I've messaged him a couple of times asking about various things, truly a nice guy.

Even in best of times I could never have gone that route, it would have been Dynacorn for me.

That is a lot of work to tackle, good luck to him.

Reminds me of a guy we had on the board several years ago who was from Japan. He also did some very extensive rust repair on his Mustang and posted his process. Can't remember his name though.

After looking at the rust repair RustyGills performed on that 1965coupe. I have a question for yall so I am debating removing my roof skin but want to keep it intact. So after removing the lead drilling the spot welds on the sail panels on both glass channels front and rear then remove the braze from the factory on the front pillars is that it? or have I overlooked something?

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
