My Bash Thrash

Help, I need some spring weather up here. It seems that every other day it snows so the 67 is still in the stables. We leave for Texas on Saturday and the Mustang has not been driven since the last snows of 2020.
She fired right up once I got the firing order in the correct direction. So the engine runs, the clutch seems to work and all the lights go on and off when commanded, butt she still has not seen the road.
I deem her ready for the bash.

Re: My Bash Thrash

That sucks Gary, something like Canada, summer here is three weeks of lousy snowmobiling and a month of bad ice fishing.
Hopefully you will get a warm up before you have to leave and remember, the further south you go the better the chance you will need A/C.

Re: My Bash Thrash

We........are in the middle of a "Carter era" GAS SHORTAGE down here. (The American public has such a short memory span!)
We did not find ANY gas  stations here/near with gas or without long lines out into the streets today.
Hope Texas is better. (Hope Southwest has enough to FLY!!)

Soooooooo......Gary, IF you get to Texas......you may don't get enough gas to get back to cool Colorado soooooooooo bring plenty of shorts.sandals/and T-shirts....it could be a long hot summer!!

Re: My Bash Thrash

Gary, Are you guys packing a snow shovel for the trip to Texas??

Mike, I hate to hear about gas shortage. Hopefully Colonial will get it all sorted out quickly.

No shovel, but I may pack some tire chains. The Mustang's path to freedom has melted and is clear of snow but not of mud. I should get a few miles on her Thursday/Friday for the planned leave on Saturday.

No gas shortage here but the prices are creeping up. Two weeks ago I paid $2.16 for regular on the island of St Croix, USVI. The island has a large refinery and only $0.14 tax. Roads sucked large time!

Hope to see you in a week.

Re: My Bash Thrash

The Bucket-O-Bolts finally left the stable. Seems that everything works.
