While the car was in getting the rear springs reset, we discovered that the breather vent hose off the rear axle vent is missing.
Does anyone know where this connects to, or how long the hose should be or what size the hose is?
I need to get another hose and fix this.

The rubber hose extends from the axle housing up to a hole in the frame rail.

The hose needs to be long enough to allow the rear suspension full travel without breaking, coming loose or getting damaged by something. When I did mine I installed the hose with the rear axle unsupported (hanging by the springs and shocks) and made sure that the hose was not on the exhaust or getting tangled in the brake line when the suspension was compressed or at normal ride height.

Size wise it should be 3/8" I believe. There should be a one way valve on the end that allows pressure to escape the axle, but won't allow water to enter. Not really an issue unless you are going to be fording streams though.

Do the parts suppliers sell the hose at the correct length and size? I will probably copy it and make one.
I'm still at a loss on what happened with mine and why it's not there. Hopefully no junk got in there...

The factory hose is unreinforced rubber that degrades over times and typically just cracks and falls off. Its not at all uncommon. You can replace it with fuel line or other rubber hose, but its hard to find 3/8" rubber line that isn't fuel line in my experience. No reason not to use fuel line. I'm sure the OEMs just go cheap to save $0.005/car. And no, there isn't an extra zero in there.
