Another Knuckle Dragger Made It Home From The Bash

First up, what an outstanding event. I can't thank Anna, Ed, and the others involved in pulling this year's event off without a hitch. Kudos!

Becky (or Molly if you're Sally) can't get over how well everyone made her feel welcome and part of the group. I forewarned her she just might be shunned since she was with me She seriously had a wonderful time with all y'all.

It sure is good for the soul to meet with all you guys. Y'all are truly a bunch of good folks.

Check this out, not one mechanical issue with the 69 Mach 1 during the 3,500+ Bash miles driven. That's gotta be a record, for me anyway.

After eating bbq for five days, I need to go vegetarian for a week to get right. Damn I love Texas!

The real question is, Why did you wait so long to bring her to a Bash??

Re: Another Knuckle Dragger Made It Home From The Bash

Glad you made it home okay, BB2.  Jean and I really enjoyed your stay with us and you...and Becky...are welcome ANY TIME.  Also, I'm super tickled that you, nor anyone else, had any major vehicle issues.  I haven't seen anyone post this so I will:

We have an award for the person/car that overcomes the worst enroute mechanical trouble while driving their classic to the Bash.  This year the award went to Steve G who drove from Glen Rose, TX.  He had a plastic clip on one of his wind shield wipers break but he was able to overcome this and complete the trip.  Nobody else had any problems.

Drive 'em, guys.

Well, I would've been charged with kidnapping if I'd have taken her to a prior Bash as although I've known her some 40 odd years, we've only been hanging out 6 months.

I see you aren't a risk taker. Be sure to keep hanging out with her so we see her at the next Bash...
